35+ years across ICT management, security, cloud and business analysis, in the public and private sector.
Over 35 years in ICT, I've moved between hands-on execution and strategic oversight — as ICT manager, technical and functional architect, and CISO — across public and private sector organisations in the Netherlands and abroad, with postings along the way in Ireland, France, South Africa, Australia and Italy. Multi-year assignments have run alongside each other: 17 years architecting infrastructure for an industrial client, 9 years as contracted ICT manager across a maritime holding group, and, since 2024, full ICT responsibility including the CISO role for a Ministry of Justice and Security knowledge centre.
That range rests on the same foundation wherever it's applied: security and compliance done properly, Microsoft 365 and Azure architecture and migration, and the interim, hands-on management that keeps an ICT function running while it's being built up. It's also where an interest in business development and agentic systems took hold — from an early blockchain and supply-chain pilot to the agentic business framework now being developed through Panaderos.
